Success Story of Savita Uike of Hoshangabad Chatralaya

Savita Uike, a student of the Hoshangabad Chatralaya, has always been an active member in NCC - National Cadet Corps - a tri service organization, comprising the Army, Navy, and Air Force, engaged in grooming the youth of the country into a disciplined and patriotic citizen.

It had always been her dream to join the Police Force. In the meantime she set out to browse thro’ Employment News, provided in the students’ home, as apart of career guidance, to students of class 9 to 12. She was determined to overcome the hurdles she had to face to fulfill her ambition in life. Being the only child of a widowed mother, she barely had enough clothing to wear. Yet her firm decision to serve the country paved her way to success.

She underwent rigorous training to join the CISF. The CISF is an organization which endeavours to train the Force personnel by helping them to develop a thoroughly dedicated and professional approach in securing and protecting our national assets. She passed the written test, successfully completed her training and managed to answer 60% of the questions in the Viva also. She was selected for further training by CISF for the 2008 batch.

Congratulations! Her stay for 2 years (class 9 & 10) in the Student home has given her the confidence to face the hardships in life and overcome it. She is now appearing for class 12 board exams privately.

Seeing the transformation in her from an ordinary person to a leader, with humility, our goal, “to nurture every child in rural and tribal areas with education, warmth and care through Chatralayas “, is achieved.
