Turning dreams to reality

Rajeshware had to climb a mountain and travel 7kms from where she lived. So she lived with her aunt whose house was only 3kms from school.

Before long, her aunt left the village and shifted to Bangalore. So Rajeshware built a small hut near her school. She not only had to study well but also cook her food. This was very difficult for this young girl.

So she became a part of The Emirates AIM for Seva Chatralaya for girls in Dharmapuri.

At the start, she was lazy, lethargic and home-sick and found it very difficult to adjust with other fellow students. This kind of behaviour was due to a lot of ill-feeling that had mounted up within her. She required a lot of counselling and motivational therapy.

Now, Rajeshware has realized the importance of education. She said “I will study well and get at least 400 marks in my public exam. I am extremely grateful to Amma (Br.Poongothai), who was always there to correct me whenever I do any mistake and has taken a lot of interest in my studies. I will study well and take care of my parents and do whatever help I can for the needy”.

We find a marvelous change not just in her attitude but also tremendous improvement in her studies.
