A spiritual meet was recently organised for students at the Dayasagar AIM for Seva Chatralayam for Boys, Kalahandi, Odisha. This boarding residence is home to 25 boys. The event saw participation of students from the neighbouring regions of Balangir, Bubel, Dumerbahal and Bhainsapali.
The discourse was held in natural and beautiful environs of the Sri Tapovan Ashram, Bichhupali, Jhar Balangir in the august presence of Swami Tejomayananda Saraswati ji, Swami Paramahamsananda Saraswati ji, Brahmakumari Jacinthe from Canada and all other Ashram residents.
The main highlights during this retreat were yoga education and all round development of the students. On this occasion, Brahmakumari Jacinthe from Canada spoke on the effects of Namaste (salutation) and Indian culture while Swami Tejomayananda Saraswati ji delivered a lecture on the role of yoga in memory development. Swami Paramahamsananda Saraswati ji spoke on effects of discipline on scholastic development of children.
The one day programme concluded with practice of yoga, kirtan, Shanthi Path (peace mantra) and interaction among students.
