RO facility at AIM for Seva Krupa Home

Our donors continue to support us in many different ways. Schwing Stetter (India) Private Limited recent installed a RO (reverse osmosis) system at the AIM for Seva Krupa Home in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu at a cost of Rs 2.2 lakh.

The RO facility would make water potable by reducing the iron and salt content from water. In the past, Schwing Stetter had donated blankets and other provisions like rice, dhall and sugar totalling Rs 1 lakh to the residents of Krupa Home. This was right after the December 2015 floods.

AIM for Seva Krupa Home is a residential facility that provides end of life care support to differently-
abled adults. There are 38 people currently residing in this home and they are engaged in various activities like cloth weaving, paper crafts and packaging for local industries. Some of the products made by Krupa Home residents are displayed at Spirit of the Earth, our immersion centre in Mylapore, Chennai.
As part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, Schwing Stetter’s focus areas include rural development projects, undertaking healthcare programmes to promote awareness on health and hygiene and promotion of education and skill development programmes.
