District Collector Honours Students of KGBV School, Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu

The district collector of Dharmapuri, Ms. Amudha I.A.S., honoured Selvi T. Anitha and Selvi D. Prema ,

who secured the first and second places in the district, in the recent VIII standard exams held in March 2009. These students studied in the KGBV residential school for dropout girls, run by AIM for Seva, at Kottur, Dharmapuri district, Tamil Nadu.

Of the 12 students who appeared for the examination, AIM for Seva is proud to announce that 9 of them passed in first class, the rest 3of them in the second.

At a function held at the school premises the Director of Primary School Education, Tamil Nadu, Thiru. A Venkatesan I.A.S., gave away cash prizes of Rs.1000 each to Selvi .T. Anita and Selvi .D.Prema.

In his key note address at the function ,he appealed to the people and local officials to extend their support to AIM for Seva ,dedicated to the service of the under privileged children.
