The school provides education to 230 boys and 200 girls from the surrounding 30 villages.
To spread education among the various sects of adivasis in this area, AIM for Seva took over the administration of the local Government school at Kheroj.
The school currently has classes from VIII to XII. Most of the boys in this area opt to join the armed forces and this requires a minimum qualification of class XII.
The students are encouraged to participate in sports and cultural activities. As a part of the curriculum, NSS, yoga and computer education are included.
Future plans include starting a primary school in the same premises with classes 1 to 7 which will provide a strong foundation for the students before they go on to secondary school level.
