The building was constructed by the funds allocated by the local MP in the year 2003.
This student home is administered by Dr. Deshpande under the guidance of Swami Chidrupananda Saraswati, who has succeeded in turning the Harijan colony nearby, into a nonalcoholic and harmonious colony.
This Student Home for boys has children living from the surrounding 15 villages.
In the evening special coaching classes in Science, Mathematics and English are held for the children. These classes help the children pass their final exams with flying colours.
Children also enthusiastically participate in extra-curricular activities.
