Project Details & Achievements
- The children follow a disciplined daily routine that includes prayers, exercises, study, and recreation. In addition special emphasis is given to imparting value based education to build character.
- On the weekends, art & craft classes are also conducted and their works are displayed.
- Special classes (Sandhya Gurukulam) are held for those children, who require additional help in their academics.
- The children of this student home have taken part in “Pratiba Karanji” conducted by the Education Department, Karnataka. These are group competitions in sports, Gita chanting, folk dance, recitation in both English and Hindi, etc.
- We have set up a Balwadi at Malgunda. This Balwadi or day care centre gives children from under-privileged families the opportunity to being their education at the early age of 3. In addition, both the mother and child are given periodic medical checkups. Regular camps on hygiene and sanitation are also held for both children and parents.
