Navarathri Celebrations Brings the Thoothukudi Community Closer
A grand KOLU was organized by the students of the AIM for Seva Asvattha Student Home, Thoothukudi. The Kolu attracted villagers in and around the student home. Parents of the girls in the student home also visited their wards and took part in the festivities.
The occasion provided a good opportunity to showcase the handiwork of the children and included pop art created from old greeting cards and 3 dimensional models
The celebrations served as an opportunity for the entire community to converge and celebrate Navarathiri in the traditional way.
