“Walkathon” Charity Fundraiser

On June 4th, AIM for Seva Volunteers, all of whom are working professionals, organized the first AIM for Seva “Walkathon” charity fundraiser at a local community park in the Lehigh Valley (Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton) area of Pennsylvania .
The primary purpose of this event was to increase awareness of the organization, and its wonderful activities across the length and breadth of India in helping tribal and rural communities with free education, healthcare and other activities, and seek donations. The local community shared their support and participated with great enthusiasm. Fortunately, all could enjoy a beautiful spring morning. Snacks were provided.
The event was concluded with a short talk – an overview and activities of AIM for Seva’s activities. The event was successful in meeting its objectives of increasing awareness and raising funds.
