Going global: Meet our alumnus who is seven seas away

We are very happy to share that our alumni have tasted success in all spheres from life– from guarding the nation’s borders to pursuing higher studies abroad; each student has a story to tell.

Suraj joined the Swami Dayananda AIM for Seva Tribal Boys Chatralayam, Alwal,Telangana in 2005. He hails from Quthbullapur, Hyderabad. While living with us, he completed his class 9 and X.

After completing class X, Suraj had to go back home because of family commitments. He then completed his intermediate education and went on to do his bachelors in electronic and communication engineering from the Indur Institute of Engineering and Techology, Sidipet, Medak district, Telangana.
The engineering graduate then went on to complete a masters in engineering from University of South Alabama, USA in 2015. He is now working as a computer engineer and recently shifted base from Philadelphia to California, USA.

Suraj attended the AIM for Seva USA’s Chapter Lead Coordinators Annual Convention last April that was held at the Arsha Vidya Gurukulam, Saylorsburg, USA. He shared his experience of living and studying in a Chatralayam in India. Suraj also thanked the Chairperson and Managing Trustee of AIM for Seva, Smt. Sheela Balaji, AIM for Seva coordinators in India and donors and volunteers from USA for providing him the opportunity to get educated and experience success.
We wish Suraj all the very best.
