It was the turn of the century. A grassroots level movement was conceived to educate rural India. Within a year of its founding, AIM for Seva opened its first Chatralayam in Anaikatti, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Since then, there has been no looking back. Today we are present in 16 states with 97 Chatralayams.

Over the last 18 years, our work has expanded to include schools, healthcare facilities and community development projects and initiatives. The numbers speak for themselves.

A New Computer Laboratory Boosts Academic Enthusiasm

With computer education for plus two students made compulsory in government schools, Cognizant Foundation supported us with the construction of a computer centre at Semmangudi Higher Secondary School in Sembangudi, Tamil Nadu. Sundaram Fasteners Ltd. and AIM for USA contributed 20 desktops along with a set of 20 chairs and desks for high school students. Read more »
