Activities: Health Care

Besides Student Homes and education for lesser privileged children, health care is another focus area for AIM for Seva.

At present, AIM for Seva manages 5 hospitals, 6 health clinics and 6 mobile medical vans that benefit over 2 Million people.

Hospitals

With 5 hospitals, AIM for Seva offers primary health care in the states of Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.

Clinics

AIM for Seva currently runs 6 health care clinics across four states in India. The clinics cater to thousands of patients from rural and tribal areas.

Mobile Medical Services and Specialized Medical Camps

AIM for Seva reaches out to people, who either do not have access to medical care or cannot travel to the nearby hospital, through its mobile medical services. A fully equipped medical van, with a doctor and nurse visits 3-5 villages every day. Not only do they provide the necessary treatment, in case of emergencies, they take the patients to the nearby hospital. They also help create greater awareness of the importance of prevention, sanitation and hygiene.

Special medical camps such as eye camps and dental camps are conducted across the country in AIM for Seva's hospitals and schools. Alcohol de-addiction camps are conducted annually at Anaikatti and Manjakkudi in Tamil Nadu.
