Sri. Lalit Kumar, a volunteer at the Swami Dayananda AIM for Seva Chatralayam for Girls, Yelahanka, Karnataka devised and conducted various team building activities and fun games for our girls at the Yelahanka Chatralayam. The whole objective behind this exercise was to inculcate a spirit of team work amongst the girls. There are 44 girls living in the Yelahanka Chatralayam.
The games conducted at the workshop included water balloon games, spoon and thread games, plank wall games and ball games.
On behalf of MKSG Memorial Trust, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, Ms. Sudha Sridhar paid a visit to the Swami Dayananda AIM for Seva Chatralayam for Girls, Yelahanka, Karnataka and gifted yoga mats to our Chatralayam. Yoga is an important aspect of our value-based education curriculum. Ms. Sridhar also conducted clay pottery activities for the students.
The girls from the Swami Dayananda AIM for Seva Chatralayam for Girls, Yelahanka, Karnataka are all rounders in the true sense of the word. Not only have three hostelers stood first, second and third in the recently concluded class X board examinations, they have also shown a keen interest in art and craft.
Recently, our girls worked on an innovative quilting project where they were taught the basics of art and introduction to painting on fabric.
